Dear Mr. Hughes, On Wednesday December 9, 2009 I made motel reservations via SHD Web and inadvertently made a mistake in my email address and after realizing my mistake I immediately cancelled with the intention of correcting the error and re-enter my request with a correct address. This of course caused some confusion and I was advised the booking had been cancelled and there would be a $25.00 cancellation fee. At 6:30PM that evening I sent an e-mail explaining my problem and at 6:58PM I received a reply stating that my e-mail would be forwarded to the Customer Relations Manager to correct the problem. At 10:30AM Thursday December 10, 2009 I received a telephone call from "Julie" who immediately corrected the problem, rebooked our reservation and gave us credit for the $25.00 cancellation fee.
I was amazed and extremely pleased with the rapid response and corrective action taken by you and your Customer Service personnel. I will in the future make my reservations with your company and I will recommend to my friends that they too utilize the service you provide. Thank you for a very pleasant and speedy conclusion to this matter."

I recently booked a room through SHDweb for accommodations at the Doubletree Downtown Tulsa. We got up Saturday morning and went to the front desk as we had some questions about our room. When the front desk looked up our account, she commented that she couldn't believe the rate we had gotten. She went on to tell us that if we had booked the room directly (through Crowne Plaza) our rate would have been $179 a night! Our rate was $89! We were amazed. I recently stayed at your Holiday Inn in Heath, Ohio and had a very bad experience and was suppose to have at least 1 night if not 2 taken off of my stay. I contacted customer service by phone on 9-17-08 and gave all the pertinent information on the time I made the reservation which was 6-20-08 and the money for my room was taken out of my checking account on 6-23-08. If you could check on this for me I would greatly appreciate it. I will be looking to hear from you very soon.
Update: I also wanted you to know that I have received credit in my checking account for the 2 days you are refering too. Hello, we used your reservation service after a friend told us about it. She had used your website early in the summer and was very pleased. So, we thought we would try it out for our trip to Las Vegas and I must say your selection is so big that it took awhile to choose.
I am writing to thank SHD and the person I spoke with on the phone that helped me when I was in a 'complete panic'. We made reservations on your site several weeks before our trip, but when I called the hotel a few days before we were supposed to arrive ... they'd never heard of us. I called SHD and was beside myself. They told me that they would definitely get it resolved. Within 15 minutes I received a call from a reservation specialist who reassured me everything was in order. They'd spoken to the Best Western and come to find out, someone at the hotel had just misplaced my reservation info. Our trip was very enjoyable, and you will be highly recommended."
