Our two bedroom cottages include a king or queen in the master bedroom two twins in the second. There is also a double pullout sofa in the living room. Most two bedrooms offer two baths.

By Car From Boston, take Interstate 93 to Interstate 89 (at Bow, NH) and follow I-89 to exit 1 at Woodstock, Vermont. Follow Route 4 to Rutland, and turn North (right) onto Route 7 to Vergennes. At Vergennes, follow the signs to 22A, drive through town, over the bridge, and turn right on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles. From Montreal, take Route 10 East to the Champlain Bridge. Take Route 133 to the border into Vermont, and go South on Interstate 89. Take exit 13 to I-189, and get off on Route 7 South. Follow Route 7 to Vergennes, go through town and follow the signs for Route 22A. Drive over the bridge and turn tight on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles. From New York, take the New York Thruway to Exit 24 at Albany. Take Interstate 87 North (Adirondack Northway) to exit 28, get off and turn right onto Route 74. Follow Route 74 for 17 miles to the junction with 9N, turn left onto 9N. Following signs, proceed to the Champlain Bridge. Once in Vermont, follow Route 17 to Route 22A. Turn left on Route 22A North to Vergennes. Drive past the cemetery on your left and turn left onto Panton Road. Turn right onto Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles. From Hartford, take Interstate 91 North to exit 6 at Rockingham, Vermont. Turn left on Route 103 to Rutland, and then North (right) on Route 7 to Vergennes. At Vergennes, follow the signs to 22A, drive through town, over the bridge, and turn right on Panton Road, then right on Basin Harbor Road and proceed for six miles. A two night deposit is required on all stays of two nights or longer.

Red Mill Restaurant  Red Mill Restaurant - This renovated saw mill is a family favorite. A natural spot for guests who would prefer a more casual dining experience, the Red Mill offers a bistro menu, with lighter fare including salads, seafood, burgers, and vegetarian dishes. It is open for both lunch and dinner. The distinctive décor features rough-hewn beams, antique farm equipment, and walls covered in maps and photos of Basin Harbor in days past. The Red Mill also has a children's menu and an enormous outdoor play structure, guaranteed to provide hours of fun.
