The Grinder  The Original Pantry Cafe  The Original Pantry Cafe Owned by former Los Angeles mayor Richard Riordan, the Pantry opened its doors in 1924 and offers all-American basics in an old, coffee-shop environment. Open 24 hours. The restaurant is located at 877 South Figueroa St, 1.8 miles north of our Los Angeles (USC) property. Rosen Brewery  On Western at 4th Street. A Koreatown original. Featured in the Los Angeles Times, this microbrewery is a spacious, beautiful locale. The hand-crafted ales are some of the tastiest to be found in Los Angeles. The 188" television features sports video, while soft rock is played. The food is excellent. The huge bar is full service. Worth a stop, if even only to sample the Koreatown Ale!
