The Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa is nestled on a hillside in beautiful historic Sausalito. Most rooms offer gorgeous views that overlook Richardsons Bay and Belvedere Island as well as the San Francisco skyline. Brick-laid paths adorned with lush greenery flowers and fountains escort guests to their rooms cottages and casitas. Some of the Historic rooms are accessible by stairs only adding to the historic experience. Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa combines vintage architecture with modern hospitality and golden gate charm. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places Casa Madrona now maintains the record for the oldest mansion in all of Sausalito. The 32 original rooms in the mansion as well as the hillside casitas are of a Victorian style each individually themed and named according to their unique style. The 31 additional rooms completed in 2002 feature a contemporary styled decor. Many of our rooms offer a private deck and or a fireplace. Combine that with the views of sailboats and the sound of sea lions help to create this romantic wistful and creative setting. Casa Madrona welcomes both business and pleasure travelers. All rooms have wireless high speed internet natural light windows that open and many offer private decks balconies and fireplaces. 3 ADA compliant rooms which include large doors special seats and roll in shower are located directly off elevator. Casa Madrona is also the home to the Spa at Casa Madrona. The Spa lies in the Courtyard between the two main buildings providing an oasis away from distractions and the sounds of daily life. It allows you the perfect opportunity to completely rejuvenate after one or more treatments by our professionally licensed therapists.

Victorian Queen - These individually decorated rooms have a queen size bed and are located in the original Casa Madrona Victorian Lodge. The Victorian rooms are at the top of a hill and reachable by outdoor stairways only.
Standard: 
Grand Bayview Room-Located in the historic side of the hotel. Each offers with one king bed in the first room and an open plan second room and a separate sitting area. Some have a private balcony. The Rooms are reachable by outdoor stairways only.
Standard: 
Courtyard King-Rooms have four poster king-size bed and luxurious bathrooms with over sized soaking tubs w/ spa quality VIP bath amenities. Room styles do vary as some of these are loft style with the upstairs bedroom area accessible by stairs only. WiFi.
Standard: 
Bay View Queen-These unique rooms are located on the hillside above Sausalito. Furnished with a queen bed. Many have balconies. The Bay view rooms are reachable by outdoor stairways only. Wireless high speed internet available in every room.
Deluxe: 
Deluxe Harbor View King-From the balconies of these rooms enjoy views of the charming seaside communities of Sausalito San Francisco Bay and Angel Island. Rooms boast high ceilings. A four-poster king bed. French doors that open onto private balconies.

Cottage Queen - The rustic Cottages provide spacious accommodations with stunning bay views and multiple rooms. Rooms vary in size from 530 to 800 square feet and are reachable by outdoor stairways only. All have wireless high-speed internet available.

Approx 45min. Take US-101 North out of the airport for approximately 5 miles. Go North on I-280 and get off before the Golden Gate Bridge on CA- 1-19th Ave. Follow this to US-101 North over the Golden Gate Bridge. Take the East Alexander Exit. Follow Alexander to Bridgeway. Make a left on Bridgeway and Casa Madrona will be on the left hand side. Approx 75 min. Take Hwy 880 North to 80. Get on Hwy 580 West to the San Rafael Bridge. Cross the bridge 3.00 toll and get off at the Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit. Stay to the left go through town and follow signs to Hwy 101 South. Take Hwy 101 approximately 6 exits to the Sausalito Marin City exit. Go left at the first light then go under the freeway and turn right at the light onto Bridgeway. Travel 1.5 miles to downtown Sausalito. Casa Madrona will be on the right hand side at 801 Bridgeway.
