Farmer's Market & Street Fair
Farmer's Market and Street Faire Starting from May 6, 2005 until October 28, 2005, the Friday Farmers Market and Street Faire is held on Main Street and Hunter Square with an average of 4,000 shoppers per week coming to enjoy fresh produce, cut flowers, fine arts, crafts, merchandise, food and lunch time entertainment. The Market continues to grow in size and popularity and has become a Downtown Stockton tradition. Campgrounds: See Description
There are 50 campgrounds and RV parks with a total of 2,800 sites in the California Delta and most are either adjacent to the water, or just a pebble's toss away behind the protective leaves. For campers or RVers who tow along a trailerboat, many California Delta resorts also offer boat launching, and a guest dock where you can keep the boat overnight while it is in the water. Sport Fishing: see description
The fishing is varied in the waters of the 1,000-mile California Delta, and may include sturgeon weighing 100 pounds, striped bass over 40 pounds, etc. The Delta is considered to be one of the world's half-dozen best places for largemouth bass and catfish, which may be the Delta's most reliable fish to catch. Youngsters and even adults are content to go after panfish, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, and Sacramento perch. So, don't hesitate, go fishing!
