Follow Route 1A South about 20 miles into Ellsworth. Continue straight through Ellsworth as Route 1A turns into Route 3 East. Follow Route 3 East 10 miles. Once you cross the causeway to Mt. Desert Island follow Route 3 to the left at the stop light. It is approximately 10 miles to Bar Harbor. Turn left onto West Street; the first street on your left in Bar Harbor. West Street is about 1/2 mile past the Bar Harbor Regency, Bar Harbor Days Inn and Cat Ferry to Nova Scotia.
